Have you seen the Kite Runner movie?
I read the book, then watched the movie. Both were great!

No, I haven't seen the movie and the book is next on my reading list. I'm really looking forward to reading it ... everyone says it's a great read!

Thanks for the recommendations --

It's a great book. My friend hates reading boooks, but she actually read the whole thing and loved it. Do you find this valuable?

I finally read "The Kite Runner" -- and you are absolutely right!

I put it down as the last book I read because it was the first book that came to mind since it's on top of my stack of "to reads". Spend Mother's Day relaxing and reading ... (for a change)!.

Thanks for the push ...

I haven't seen the movie, don't want to, can't stand to cry and I cried a lot while I read the book. It was wonderful, there was one character I tried so hard to like and couldn't until the very end. It was so true of human nature and that in itself can break your heart. I still have faith in this thing we're called "human beings". We always come through when it is necessary. I cried more reading the book than seeing the movie. I think that books make everything seem more real than in movies. I don't know if that sounds ridiculous or not, but I find it true for me.
