Have you seen...
May 11 2008, 10:37 AM EDT Have you seen the Kite Runner movie? I read the book, then watched the movie. Both were great! Do you find this valuable? |

It is
May 11 2008, 11:52 AM EDT It's a great book. My friend hates reading boooks, but she actually read the whole thing and loved it. Do you find this valuable? |

May 12 2008, 7:11 AM EDT I finally read "The Kite Runner" -- and you are absolutely right! I put it down as the last book I read because it was the first book that came to mind since it's on top of my stack of "to reads". Spend Mother's Day relaxing and reading ... (for a change)!. Thanks for the push ... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Have you seen...
May 23 2008, 9:35 PM EDT I haven't seen the movie, don't want to, can't stand to cry and I cried a lot while I read the book. It was wonderful, there was one character I tried so hard to like and couldn't until the very end. It was so true of human nature and that in itself can break your heart. I still have faith in this thing we're called "human beings". We always come through when it is necessary. NanaMimi Do you find this valuable? |

I think that books make everything seem more real than in movies. I don't know if that sounds ridiculous or not, but I find it true for me. Do you find this valuable? |
