I joined this wiki because: I love the Ellen Show and I love the way she gives back. I live in New Orleans and know the reality of whats happened here because of Hurricane Katrina. Like Ellen I'm trying to give back, so I've joined the Ellen wiki in the hopes of reaching more people that were and are touched by the devistation that still befalls New Orleans.

My dream job(s): My shirt company that I'm starting up! Its been a dream of mine to be able to give back to New Orleans what its given me all these years. This is such a magical, historical city!
What else you should know about me: I'm a very outgoing, vivacious person. Its all about people with me. I was born in a very small community in South Louisiana and am lucky enough to be living in the most outrageous city in the World. Its like being on vacation every weekend. And I'm so very proud to call it home, now. I have two beautiful children that I love more than anything. I'm single and do have someone that I'de like to call special in my life. I love planning events and making them special. I also love writing and will be posting some of my writings for people to read and hopefully give me some feedback on. Thanks!

Hello! I live in New Orleans and have started a company that I hope will aid in bringing businesses back to New Orleans. My company is WORDbydenais. I'm going to be posting some pics of some of the t'shirts and aparrel that we will be selling and hope you find them interesting. Tateese, I really admire what you're doing for New Orleans through your Shirt Company. The people of New Orleans, really need some federal financial help and FEMA and the Bush gov't. did nothing and the FEMA trailers that had/have mold in them with people living in them....that's inexcusable. Been listening to CNN and a warehouse of stuff was meant to go to the people and instead, other agencies got it, claiming there were no requisitions for the stuff to go to the people. That ticked me off. Only now, are some people getting goods meant for them....now. FEMA needs to be overhauled in a big way.

Yeh like I said earlier we saw vampire man playing at the city bar. He plays guitar and sings. He's really good and we saw him again playing last weekend. Great show and pretty cool guy. Good luck with the company and looking for a update.

I’m sorry there was a hidden agenda with the question I asked. Me and my girlfriends were out and met you in a biker bar in Opelousas. You were very friendly to all of us and sang some songs but what we all were crazy about was your significant other. That’s why the question about a special someone. The guy with the long hair, light eyes vampire looking model. We all could not believe it because here we were all lesbians (this is an Ellen bog) and we all tried to get his info. He was nothing but nice and made it perfectly clear he was crazy about you (your very lucky) but to this day we still go into that bar and talk about him and hope he will walk in. I am sorry for that but seeing your picture we all knew it was you and we had to ask. Sister that’s one man that can turn all of us into playing for the other team. Good luck with your company and the next time I see you I will introduce myself.
