May 18 2008, 11:29 AM EDT I am happy that you have survived having cancer. I am only in ninth grade, but I have a friend who had brain cancer in 3rd and 4th grade. He got better and we were all so excited. In 6th grade it came back. He died in 7th grade. It was horrible. How much of Italian do you have in you? I am half greek (well there might be a little turkish thrown into the mix), a quarter russian, an eighth irish, and an eighth french canadian. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I am 1/2 italian, my mother was full italian (Sicilian) and her parents (my grandparents immigrated from Italy. I love Greek food and the culture is very interesting. It's nice to have someone comment on my profile, I have had a hard time feeling a "part of" the wiki and your message made my day. greek, russian, irish and french canadian- you must be a beautiful girl, enjoy highschool! (I graduated in 1980 and am OOOOOOOOld...lol 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

I spend most of my time on one or the other, either lobbying for equality and justice or witnessing the awesome power of a personal relationship with Christ. I love to do glass beading and to read. May 27 2008, 9:22 PM EDT My sister and I love to paint with watercolor. last month she chaperoned on a field trip and we brought coffee on the bus and started painting on a scrap piece of paper that she found in her bag. We used coffee because we didn't have any water! I love to dance, too. What kind of dancing do you do? I do ballet and modern dance, both are extremely fun. I also swim and I LOVE to read. I also love going to the beach, but I don't like the funky tan lines you get, not that I lay on the beach trying to get a tan anyway. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 5 2008, 1:23 PM EDT hi everybody!= ) I'm here cos I was reading about you,here on your pro,and I wanted say something about two things. First of all...I am italian!= ) 100%!! i live in tuscany,near Florence. and the second one is about cancer.Yeah....it's so sad how so many of us have something in common cos of that... My mom had a breats cancer,a couple of years ago.She has been sooo lucky!!!she decided to not postpone a mammograph and they found out she had a lil lil mass...she didn't know actually how take the liquid with the syringe to see if it was benigne or not...you know that kind of tests...i don't know how say that in english,i'm sorry = ) btw....she had the surgery and then a cycle of radio-therapy.Years have been passe by now,and she's really fine...every tests or check-ups is ok. But my uncle hasn't been so lucky....He had cancer about 5 years ago...he has been so unlucky cos that bastrad was in the worse place it could be...at the membrane that covers stomach and I don't know what else...again,I don't knowthe exact englich name for this membrane. Btw...doctors usually say that with a cancer of that kind people have 5 years time...in fact my uncle got cancer again...and he's feeling really bad....and there're no cures or treatments to help him,anymore. I guess you can imagine the sadness,the pain and all the horrible feelings we have when something like that happen.... well....got to go now....I just wanted to share this thing with people who can get me very well.... hugs, giulia. It's always good to share these things with other people. so thanks for sharing! :) I hope things get better.
