So she left and started doing odd jobs then wanted to do her own thing so therefore she started with the stand up, small and slow, but look at her now! 12 out of 12 found this valuable. Do you? |

I signed up as under "Tickets" as soon as they were available (within minutes, I'm sure) and so did 3 of my friends hoping that one of us would get lucky. Nope. In the case of the Acadia (which people are STILL trying to win), there are over 1,500 sad stories about why people think that they need to win the Acadia. Or are they selected and, if so, how?The last time I was at the show, February 25, they do go through the line and sort of "talk" to people and write down their number then call them out and take them to the corner of the holding area... I talked to one of those people and it was for the game week segment. They do not randomly pick people, they try to get the craziest person that will act crazy on the show and show lots of excitement. They ask them a lot of questions and questions about being on TV and then weed them out. It was disappointing to me to hear how they did that. I wish it was just random like them bringing out the drum and pick the names. but its pretty obvious when they call the names out, they all sit on the same side of the studio and on the end of the aisles. They do seat you in a particular order too... I'm quite not sure how, but those "chosen" people are always the one side of the studio. Just watch and see. I mean, its fine I guess, but as far as the online contests, I have no idea how they choose them. When you enter the big contests, you always have to submit "Your Story" and we all have a story... some good and some bad. And there are so many entries, I have no idea how they go through those! But I do know how they pic for the games... I wish it was done randomly, it would be more spontaneous don't you think? 12 out of 12 found this valuable. Do you? |

I think they called and checked to see if they got them and they did, but maybe call first and explain you are planning on coming from overseas then see what they say... Like I said, the tickets fly! I requested once and didn't get them and I requested them immediately when they were available. Luckily one of my other friends got me in on her ticket request.
