Apr 26 2008, 2:42 AM EDT Ellen has a fan base with one of the largest demographics in the world. Her audience ranges from babies not even able to walk, to senior citizens like Gladys. Some of us have been fans since before she hit the screen and was playing in clubs. Her "talk with God" is one of the classic comedic moments in history. How did you first come to know Ellen? If you began watching her on the current Ellen Show, what was the first episode you watched? Have you met her in person? If so, where and when? Apr 26 2008, 1:01 PM EDT I probably saw Ellen as a guest on a TV talk show first, then loved her sitcom, and now her daily show. I saw the first episode. I have never met her, but my 2 sons work at Universal Orlando and were both part of some of the filmed episodes (the carousel ride in 2007) and Jaws 2007, and the fortune teller bit this year. Her show is on every afternoon at 3, so I record it if I have to work that night. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 29 2008, 11:06 AM EDT I had seen Ellen on TV but didn't think a lot about her. My daughter really liked her and would tell me about her but I still really wasn't interested in her. In January I had total knee replacement done and had time on my hands so I started to watch her. She really shined as a person who cares. Hope that I can shine a little like her. I have tried, not sure if I do enough. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 21 2008, 6:28 PM EDT I guess I just found out about her like 3 years ago! I saw her show. I can't remember,really. I was little. I thought her name was Ellen The Generes. Or atleast a nickname. I thought it was that because she gave stuff to people and she was all nice and stuff. I love her show! Do you find this valuable? |

May 23 2008, 3:41 PM EDT I first saw Ellen on that TV show where she worked as a receptionist/secretary in a real estate office - I thought she was funny then and followed her career since then. I think the show was only on for a season or two in the last 80's. Can anyone remember the name of that show? Do you find this valuable? |
