Jun 3 2008, 4:50 PM EDT Because people are posing as her or are saying they can get messages to her and stuff like that. Basically lying. There's a lot of pages like that on there from "famous people" which are just regular joes posing as them. Most of the fan ones get deleted to because they start saying crap about like I said getting messages to them or something. Do you find this valuable? |

Jun 3 2008, 7:36 PM EDT Hm...well, I have no intention of doing that. It doesn't make sense to me to claim that I can get messages to her when anyone can through The Ellen DeGeneres Show website. My page is just a fan page...a collection of pictures and other things like I said. And obviously, I'm not Ellen. I guess I can understand if it gets deleted, but I know of many other fan pages that have thrived on MySpace, so I thought I'd try one out for Ellen. Do you find this valuable? |

Jun 4 2008, 3:40 AM EDT Well, though you may have no intention, other people might and those other people would take this kind of fanpages to put up messages of getting messages to her and stuff, So, if you are keeping on a fanpage, keep an eye out for users who might advertise that they can get to her and so on. Btw, nice fanpage, checked it out yesterday. :D Do you find this valuable? |

Thanks to the settings, anything someone wants to post has to go through me first...although I'm sure there are certain people with the skills to get by that. I have a personal MySpace profile, and so far I've had to problems. However, once I get enough friends on the fan page, I'll consider making it private . Do you find this valuable? |

Jun 17 2008, 5:28 AM EDT I really think Ellen is a great person. She makes me laugh so many times when I am really down. My daughter always watched her and talked about her and I just was not a talk show watching person. I also work during the day an wasn't interested in her show. In January I had knee replacement and was home and that is when I started to watch the show and was hooked. I record it now because of work. I get upset if I forget to record. She has a great show and seems like a great person. Do you find this valuable? |
