The Secret thread
Jul 14 2008, 2:42 AM EDT _________________ _________________ _________________ lol..there's a message hidden in between those lines above..and you have to guess it..nah, just kidding..lol okay, this thread is about the "Secret" or "Law of Attraction." I do believe that the "Secret" really does work. When I was in high school, I just focused on the thoughts of being at the top of our class. It really seemed so hard because I know that most of my classmates and some of the "geniuses" are in the same class/section as mine...but then, with the power of thoughts of "being on top 1" just to prove to myself that I can be top 1 and of course, I did my part as a student as well (just like in my previous student years), I was able to make it! it's just funny..and then, after making it to the top, i did not mind afterwards if i'm top 1 again in the next semester/quarter lol..I just have proven to myself, yes, I can be what I put my mind into, if I have concentration and believe that it's just possible.. then, another time again in nursing school, I was having a rough time and failed some of my exams and I was just so focused on the thoughts that I will pass (and I prayed for God's help too) and then, I passed and graduated... Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 14 2008, 2:52 AM EDT and just recently, I envisioned myself landing a job in this prestigious hospital (which I cannot tell here lol it's private matter) and I just "let go and let God do the rest"..and in a matter of about two weeks after submitting my application, I was interviewed by them and I landed the job! WOW, the "Secret" does really work.. The greatest lesson we can learn from the "Secret" is not just simply about "getting what we want" but the truth about thoughts as energy. When we send out thoughts, it has a vibration pattern that comes with it and the Universe responds to our thoughts.. so, we must re-think about what kind of thoughts we are sending out to the Universe. We should check out ourselves whether my thoughts at this moment is positive or negative..because our thoughts can be powerful and become a reality..our thoughts are reflected to our external world.. that's why when we see the world as negative with all the wars going around and we get "mad" about it, we are just creating more negativity and not realizing it..instead of thinking about the war, why not we focus on the thoughts of peace like envisioning our world, our community in harmony despite of our seemingly differences.. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 14 2008, 3:00 AM EDT you may have doubts that it may not work..well, we may not see our positive thoughts reflected in an instant, however, it truly make a difference because it dissipates the negative energy/thoughts polluting our planet/world..google over: the maharishi effect, they did an experiment sort of related to the "Secret". They sent people to a war-torn country to concentrate/focus on the thoughts of peace and after a while they are there, each day, the violence lessened and stopped after wards..but when these people left, violence resurfaced again... it's just amazing how thoughts can be a positive force in this world.. anyhow, is there anyone here wishing to try the "Secret" to get a tix on Ellen's show?! good luck..I've got a feeling that I may get a tix soon lol. :) take care Do you find this valuable? |

Actually i had something i wanted to joke about on this subject but i'm afraid of offending who ever might be offended by me making fun on something that is inspirational and impressive so i'll be skipping it out. :X But yeah, the law of attraction is indeed a fascinating thing.
